After around 20 minutes, my arms were numb. The tripod wasn't working well that night and I had no time to fix it. It would be anticlimactic at that time to be fixing stuff while the model was already posing. It was also my first time to shoot with the new 100 mm lens, which was very heavy without the tripod. The weight was fast becoming a discomfort.

It went on for 10 minutes more. Inside the airconditioned room I was softly perspiring, beads of sweat creeping through my neck as I set about my work. I heard trance and then some new age in the background. Klaver, the Cardinals, Enya, etc. The model was silent through all these---perhaps contemplating, I wouldn't know.
20 minutes after and my body was slowing down mercilessly. The camera could go on and on til late morning, but I was getting very hungry. I decided to pack up after a few more shots. We went to a 24/7 restaurant after and ate. I went home and had a stick before sleeping.
I am loving this.
